Goalkeeping Coaching Course(8-16)

Simon Smith Goalkeeping in association with Huddersfield YMCA Junior Football Club is running a Goalkeeping Caoching Course for boys and girls aged 8 - 16 in Huddersfield (Huddersfield YMCA, New Hey Road, Huddersfield) on Sunday 24th August 2008. The cost of the course is £35.

This course gives goalkeepers the opportunity to train as the professionals do with a company dedicated to improving techniques and skills and ultimately improving match day performance.

This course allows you to learn and fine-tune all the techniques and skills you require to become a top class goalkeeper - the rest is up to you!

The course will cover the main techniques and skill of goalkeeping - giving you the edge when you return to your team.

Simon Smith Goalkeeping in association with Huddersfield YMCA Junior Football Club is be running a Goalkeeping Coaching Course for Coaches  in Huddersfield (Huddersfield YMCA, New Hey Road, Huddersfield) on Saturday 23rd August 2008. The cost of this course is £75.

These one day courses are designed for Goalkeepers, Goalkeeping Coaches and Outfield Coaches.

Where do you get your coaching material from; courses, books, videos, DVD’s, television, watching other coaches’ work?

As open minded coaches’ we are always looking for more information – practices, drills, techniques, coaching styles.

I would like to offer you the opportunity to come and work with Premiership Coaches – offering you an insight into their coaching philosophies, teaching methods and practices.

There will also be an opportunity to take a session yourself, something requested on previous courses – working with small groups on specific goalkeeping topics. If you just want to come and listen and learn – great, but you will be expected to serve, if you just want to improve your own goalkeeping techniques and skills, no problem!

This course is run by people who are dedicated to goalkeeping, working every day with top professionals but have also been described as ‘goalkeeping anoraks’, coaches who have a passion and enthusiasm about their chosen subject – Goalkeeping!

This course is designed for specialist goalkeeping coaches and outfield coaches who want to know more about the skills, techniques and decision making, that the goalkeeper requires to be a consistent and reliable performer. This course will give the coach, the technical information and practices, to enable them to help to improve their goalkeeper’s performance.
